60 Years Jail for raping Daughter |

KUANTAN: A 51-year-old security guard was sentenced by the Sessions Court here yesterday to 60 years' jail and 30 strokes of the rotan after he pleaded guilty to three counts of raping his underage daughter last year.
Clad in a white T-shirt and a pair of jeans, the man, from Jerteh, Terengganu, could only shake his head in disbelief when judge Fathiyah Idris meted out the sentences.
For each offence, he was given 20 years' jail and 10 strokes of the rotan, the jail terms to run concurrently.
Although the total number of strokes is 30, he will receive only 24 strokes, the maximum a person can be given under the law.
