Jail, Fine for Rela Member Guilty of accepting Bribes
ALOR SETAR, June 17 (Bernama) -- A Langkawi People's Volunteer Corps (RELA) member was sentenced to one and a half years in prison and fined RM20,000 by the Sessions Court here today after he pleaded guilty to accepting two bribes last year.
 
Hairdresser jailed 16 Months for cheating Director
PETALING JAYA, June 17 (Bernama) -- A hairdresser was sentenced to 16 months' jail by the Magistrate's Court here today for cheating a company director in the recruitment of a domestic helper last year.
 
Woman charged with 489 CBT Offences
SHAH ALAM: An accounts executive was slapped with 489 counts of criminal breach of trust amounting to more than RM647,000. Mai Shahira Ishak, 36, was attached to a logistics company, UTI Worldwide (M) Sdn Bhd, when she committed the offences.

Sanglang PPK Area Manager admits to falsifying Documents, CBT
ALOR SETAR, June 13 (Bernama) -- The Area Farmers' Organisation's (PPK Sanglang area manager was sentenced to 15 years' jail and fined RM380,000 or another two years' jail in default by the Sessions Court here today after pleading guilty to five charges of falsifying documents and criminal breach of trust (CBT) respectively.
