JOHOR BARU: An 18-year-old salesgirl who helped her boyfriend rape her own friend last month has been sentenced to six years’ jail.

Ina Mardi Yurnalis had helped her 26-year-old technician boyfriend Mohd Kazarin Zurin to rape the victim in a forest near Jalan Sutera, Kampung Bakar Batu at Taman Perling here at noon on July 20.

She had lured her friend who is also 18 to accompany her to a convenience store where she bought some liquor before taking her to Mohd Kazarin’s house in Sungai Perling Baru.

All three then went to the forest where the accused and her boyfriend forced the victim to drink the liquor.

When the victim complained of headache, Mohd Kazarin tried to open her pants but she resisted.

Ina Mardi then intervened by holding her friend’s hands and closing her eyes to make it easier for her boyfriend to rape the victim.
