JOHOR BARU: A businessman was slapped with a RM10,000 fine and a day’s jail for offering a RM100 bribe to a Road Transport Department enforcement officer.
A. Krishnan, 42, nodded when the charge was read to him at the Sessions Court here yesterday.
The offence was committed at the Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex at about 4pm on May 20 last year.
